Congratulations to Molly Peake, winner of the Matt Dyer
Memorial Scholarship for 2016!
This year the quality of the players who attended the scholarship was terrific. The Golden Boot team found it difficult to finalise a short list and even harder to choose the final selection from the incredible talent on display! We sincerely thank everyone who attended and encourage you to keep working and strive for the best you can be. Hopefully, we will see you again next year at the Scholarship trials!
Congratulations again to Molly, and welcome to the Golden Boot family!

Vale: Matt Dyer. Our terrific assistant coach had a tragic fatal accident on Wednesday. Matt was dearly loved by the players and team at GBSS. His friendly smile, positive attitude and constant encouragement to the players was a big part of each training session he attended. Matt acted as our goal keeper on many occasions and the kids loved to beat him especially with ‘nutmegs’. Matt will be deeply, deeply missed. -4th February
